grooved flooring. If timber floor is required, we can supply and lay 3 rows of beams to
support it over the entire length of the garage - again provided the ground is cleared and
level. |
Points To Remember
To allow the bottom weatherboard of the garage to overap the foundation,
the maximum foundation size should be 3 inches less in width
and 3 inches less in length than the
size of the garage.

The level of the foundation should be 25mm higher than the runway level
to accommodate overlap at the bottom of doors.

In the case of us supplying a timber surround or timber floor; the site
should be cleared and levelled by the customer with the position for the corners clearly
indicated. The position for the building must be in accordance with the plan submitted to,
and approved by the Local Authority. Where specified, the provision of a suitable
foundation is the customers responsibility.
Obtaining the necessary planning permission from the local authority is entirely the customers responsibility.
Unless our fixing service is used (available at extra cost), J & W
Milligan does not accept
responsibility for fixing the building to the foundations.
Under no
circumstances does J & W Milligan accept responsibility for any subsequent storm
damage.
